In this paper, we present a platform for rapid prototyping of activemeasurement tools. The FLAME platform provides its users with basic activemeasurement primitives upon which sophisticated active measurement tools canbe prototyped quickly, practically, and efficiently. We illustrate the platformflexibility through experiments conducted on Planet-lab and a local testbed.
