Escalonamento Estático Bi-objetivo e Tolerante a Falhas para Sistemas Distribuídos

In large-scale distributed systems, the occurrence of faults is a problemthat should be tackled. This work proposes a fault-tolerant bi-objectivestatic scheduling strategy, in order to establish a desirable execution time, ahigh reliability and fault tolerance. The strategy explores a passive replicationtechnique for a application scheduling to tolerate faults. To ensure flexibilityand consistency, the proposed algorithms introduce rules for the scheduling ofbackups tasks, based on a weighted cost function. The results emphasize theimportance of using flexible scheduling approaches with fault tolerance in heterogeneousand distributed environments.
