Uma Abordagem para Seleção de Rotas em Redes de Sensores Sem Fio Utilizando Sistemas Fuzzy Genéticos

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are composed of sensor nodes in order to detect and transmit features from the physical environment. Generally, the sensor nodes transmit information to a special node, called sink. The approach proposed by this paper presents the application of Fuzzy Genetic Systems (FGSs) to the selection of routes in WSNs, in order to make the communication between multiple sensor nodes and multiple sink nodes. The Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) of Mamdani is used to estimate the most suitable sink for communication at a given moment, based on some network features such as energy and the number of hops. Genetic Algorithms (GAs) are employed to adjust the design parameters of the FIS. Proposed route selection was applied through of computer simulations, to show the viability of the implemented approach. The results obtained through simulation show a sensors network with longer life- time, because the adequated choice of the sink used for sending packets through the network in order to find the best routes.
