In this paper, we review a previous strongly secure certificateless authenticated key agreement protocol and point out mistakes in its security proof. The proof is corrected, for the same original protocol. Then we propose a new protocol based on pairings, which is more efficient then the previous one and can be proved secure under the same security model.
