Many information systems that support business processes recordevents associated with the execution of the real workflow of the process. Inmany of these events, it is possible identify patterns and many of the situationsencountered in day-by-day organizations, that could be reused for thediscovery of knowledge. The challenge, however, is how to extract informationfrom these events and provide knowledge discovery to the organizations. Inthis context, this paper proposes a method able to extract this informationusing techniques of process mining in a process of anomaly management.
