In this paper we perform an investigation on the computational power of the quantum weightless neural networks (q-WNN) and we propose a novel quantum weightless neural node. The new quantum neuron is derived from the quantum probabilistic logic node (q-PLN), which is a mathematical quantisation of the weightless neural node. By a slight modification on the input lines of the q-PLN node it is possible to define the quantum psi-neuron that can approximate any quantum gate.
